Terms of Sale

These terms apply when you buy Flatsome Site Builder from flatsome.com. By completing checkout, you agree to them and the License.

1. Who we are

Flatsome is made by UX THEMES AS, Haugerudveien 61B, 1434 Ås, Norway. Org. nr. 915 128 920 MVA, registered in Foretaksregisteret (Brønnøysundregistrene). Email [email protected].

2. How your order is processed

Payments are handled by Stripe. Your order is sold and invoiced through Link, LLC (“Sold through Link”), which acts as reseller and merchant of record. Link collects the payment and any sales tax or VAT and issues your receipt. Link’s buyer terms cover the payment itself. These terms and the License cover the software, updates and support, which UX Themes provides to you directly.

3. What you buy

  • A licence to use Flatsome Site Builder (the Flatsome plugin, the Flatsome theme and optional Flatsome modules) on 1, 5 or 10 production websites, depending on the plan.
  • 12 months of updates, with priority support included, counted from your purchase date. Updates include bug fixes, security fixes, compatibility with new WordPress and WooCommerce versions, and new features.
  • Your licence to use the versions you have downloaded does not expire. After 12 months your sites keep working. You stop receiving updates and support unless you renew.

System requirements: WordPress 7.0 or later, PHP 8.2 or later, and WooCommerce 11.0 or later for store features. Future updates may need newer versions; see our current server recommendations.

4. Prices and promotions

Prices are in US dollars. Tax is calculated at checkout from your location and shown before you pay.

Promotions. We may sell Flatsome at an introductory or promotional price for a limited time. Each promotion states:

  • the promotional price and the price after the promotion,
  • when it starts and ends, with time zone,
  • who can use it, for example existing Flatsome Classic customers.

A promotion lowers the purchase price only. Renewal costs the same whether or not you bought on a promotion. Promotions can’t be combined unless we say so. We don’t refund the difference if the price changes before or after your purchase.

5. Pre-release versions

Until version 1.0, Flatsome Site Builder is a pre-release version. You get every update on the way to 1.0 and after it, with no upgrade fee, for as long as your updates are active.

  • It works, but it isn’t finished. Some features are incomplete and marked Alpha or Beta in the plugin.
  • Things will change. Blocks, settings and screens may be renamed, reworked or removed before 1.0. We note breaking changes in the changelog.
  • Bugs are likely, including in the Classic migration tool. Back up before you update, and test on a staging site first.
  • The roadmap is a plan, not a promise. Features and dates we mention may change. Buy for what Flatsome does today.

This doesn’t limit your rights under consumer law. If Flatsome doesn’t work as described here and on the product pages, you’re entitled to a fix or a refund.

6. Renewal

Renewal currently costs $45 per site a year, so a 5-site licence renews for $225 and a 10-site licence for $450. It extends updates by 12 months, with priority support included. If the renewal price changes, we email you at least 30 days before your next renewal.

  • Automatic renewal is optional. If you turn it on at checkout, we charge the renewal price for your licence ($45 per site) on each anniversary of your purchase until you turn it off. We email you at least 14 days before each charge.
  • Turn it off any time in your account at my.flatsome.com, with one click and no reason needed. We confirm by email. You keep updates and support until the end of the period you have paid for.
  • Renewing later is possible at any time. A lapsed licence renews at the current renewal price, and updates start again right away.

7. Delivery

You can download Flatsome and see your licence key in your account right after payment. We also email you an order confirmation with your licence key and these terms.

8. Refunds and your right of withdrawal

If Flatsome isn’t right for you, ask for a refund within 30 days and we’ll refund you in full. No questions asked.

How it works

  • 30 days from purchase, and 30 days from each renewal charge.
  • The full amount, including tax, back to your original payment method. It usually arrives within 5 to 10 business days.
  • How to ask: use “Request refund” in your account at my.flatsome.com, or email [email protected] with your order number.
  • A refund ends your licence. We deactivate the licence key, updates and support stop, and you may no longer use Flatsome’s non-GPL assets, such as its design, images and demo content (see the License).

Your statutory right of withdrawal

If you live in the EEA or the UK and buy as a consumer, you also have the right to withdraw from the purchase within 14 days, without giving a reason. The 14 days start on the day of purchase. Our 30-day refund includes this right and goes further, so you don’t lose anything by downloading or using Flatsome during that time.

To withdraw, tell us clearly within the deadline: use “Withdraw from contract” in your account, email [email protected], or send the form below. We confirm by email and refund you within 14 days, using the same payment method.

9. Your rights as a consumer

If you buy as a consumer, nothing in these terms limits the rights you have under mandatory consumer law. This includes the right to software that matches its description and to remedies if it doesn’t (digitalytelsesloven in Norway, or the equivalent law where you live). Report a problem to [email protected] within a reasonable time after you notice it.

10. Business customers

If you buy for a business, the following also applies. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid in the 12 months before the claim. We are not liable for indirect losses such as lost profit, lost data or lost revenue. This does not apply to gross negligence or intent.

11. Your account

Keep your login details safe. We may suspend an account or licence for fraud, payment chargebacks, sharing or reselling licence keys, or distributing Flatsome in breach of the License. We will tell you why and give you a chance to respond, unless the law or the risk of harm prevents it. If you dispute a payment with your bank instead of contacting us, we pause your licence key until the dispute is resolved. Asking us for a refund is faster.

12. Changes to these terms

We will email you at least 30 days before a change that affects you. Changes never reduce what you have already paid for, and they apply to your next renewal, not your current period.

13. Law and disputes

These terms follow Norwegian law. Consumers also keep the protection of mandatory law in their country of residence and can bring a claim in their local courts. Norwegian consumers can contact Forbrukertilsynet and Forbrukerklageutvalget. For business customers, disputes go to Follo og Nordre Østfold tingrett.
