Flatsome runs on any modern WordPress host. The values below are what it needs to work and what we recommend for a smooth experience. Your hosting provider can usually change them for you.
Minimum requirements
- WordPress 7.0 or newer
- PHP 8.2 or newer
- WooCommerce 11.0 or newer, for stores
- MySQL 8.0 or newer, or MariaDB 10.6 or newer
- HTTPS enabled
Recommended
- The latest stable WordPress, WooCommerce, and PHP releases
- A WordPress memory limit of 256 MB or more
- Object caching (Redis or Memcached) on busy stores
Recommended PHP settings
memory_limit: 256Mmax_execution_time: 180post_max_size: 32Mupload_max_filesize: 32Mmax_input_vars: 2000
WordPress memory limit
WordPress has its own memory limit, separate from PHP’s. To raise it, add this line to wp-config.php above the line that says “That’s all, stop editing”:
define( 'WP_MEMORY_LIMIT', '256M' );
Check your site
Tools → Site Health shows the current PHP version, memory limit, and database version, and Flatsome adds its own checks there for the license, WooCommerce version, and database state. Fix anything it flags before going live.
