About Flatsome
Flatsome is a WordPress site builder and block theme that lets store owners, agencies and freelancers design fast, professional WooCommerce stores without writing code.
Flatsome has been one of the best-selling WooCommerce themes for over a decade. Now it is Flatsome Site Builder, a plugin built on core WordPress blocks and theme.json, paired with the new Flatsome Block Theme.
What Flatsome does
Flatsome Site Builder
A visual, block-based builder for WordPress with the fast workflow Flatsome users know from UX Builder. You design pages, headers, footers and store templates visually, and everything is saved as standard WordPress blocks.
Flatsome Block Theme
A block theme designed for Site Builder from the start. Colors, fonts, spacing and radii live in theme.json, so a change to your brand updates every page at once.
100+ responsive blocks and starter sites
Sections, banners, sliders, product grids, mega menus, popups and more, all responsive by default. Pre-designed templates and starter sites give you a finished store to customize instead of a blank page.
WooCommerce modules
Forms, Dynamic Pricing and SEO modules are included with every license. They cover quantity discounts, buy-X-get-Y deals, lead capture and search visibility without separate plugins.
Flatsome MCP
A built-in Model Context Protocol server that lets AI agents such as Claude and ChatGPT read your site and build or edit pages with real Flatsome blocks. You control which tools each connection can use.
What makes Flatsome different
Your content is standard WordPress
Page builders such as Elementor and Divi store layouts in their own formats, which ties your content to the builder. Flatsome Site Builder saves every page as core WordPress blocks, so your content stays readable by WordPress itself.
Pay once, keep your site
Elementor Pro and similar builders are sold as yearly subscriptions. A Flatsome Site Builder license is a one-time payment that includes 12 months of updates with priority support. If you choose not to renew, your site keeps working. Renewal is optional and currently costs $45 per site a year.
Store features included in one license
Dynamic pricing, forms and SEO usually mean three more plugins to buy, update and keep compatible. Flatsome ships them as modules in the same license, built on the same blocks and styles as the rest of your site.
Built for AI agents
Flatsome MCP is part of the product, not an add-on. Agents work with the same blocks, global styles and templates you do, and every write is versioned so changes can be reviewed and restored.
Only what the page needs
Each block loads its own styles and scripts only on pages that use it, and interactive blocks use the WordPress Interactivity API. There is no builder runtime on the front end, which keeps pages fast on mobile and desktop.
Who uses Flatsome
- WooCommerce store owners who want a professional store without hiring a developer
- Agencies that build and maintain WooCommerce stores for clients
- Freelance designers and developers who need a fast, flexible WordPress builder
- Existing Flatsome Classic customers moving their sites to blocks
- Teams that want AI agents to help build and update their site
